Easter Menu Ideas

Since Easter is coming up this Sunday many of you may be looking for ideas to feed your family. There is no reasoning behind my choices other than the fact that they are big hits at my house and what I consider a fitting choice for an Easter meal.

Breakfast Ideas

Coffee Cake
These are easy to make and a special treat for a holiday breakfast.

Baked Blueberry Oatmeal
A heart-healthy and fiber-rich breakfast the whole family will enjoy before indulging in Easter candy and desserts.

Whole Wheat Butter Biscuits
These could be served for breakfast or as a side to go along with your lunch or dinner.

Lunch/Dinner and Side Dish Ideas
My family will be having the traditional ham served as our main dish but if you are looking for something different or not a ham person then here are some ideas for you.

Baked Penne with Turkey Sausage
This is always a favorite that makes plenty enough for a crowd

Ricotta and Sun-dried Tomato Chicken Roll-Ups
This is a great way to dress up plain old chicken and it’s easy to make and healthy.

Poppy Fruit Salad
I made this for my family last Easter and it was a huge hit.

Mom’s Pasta Salad
Nothing says Spring like this yummy side dish

Macaroni and Cheese with Truffle Oil
I could eat my weight in this pasta dish. It’s a good thing it has been lightened up as a healthier alternative to mac-n-cheese.

Roasted Butternut Squash with Apples
This side dish will win over both adults and children

Dessert

Banana Pudding
A true southern favorite and what I will be making for my family this Easter.

Chocolate Éclair Cake
My husbands personal favorite.

Dump Cake
This dessert taste much better than it looks I promise. It’s another Easter Tradition in our family
