Friday Favorites: 6/12

I took last week off from sharing my Friday favorites post since we were just getting back from Ojai, so this week I am playing catch up. I am hoping to sit down this weekend to prepare a few new recipes to share because right now I have nothing. Nada. I do have some ideas so at least that’s a start. I know for many of my local readers school is officially out for summer. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and a happy, happy Friday.

I finished this book and found it to be a power and incredibly moving novel. It’s full of pain and sadness and unlike any book I’ve ever read. I know it may sound depressing (and at times it is) but it’s also a beautiful book about unconditional love and friendship. It’s not an easy read but one I would definitely recommend especially if you’re looking for a thought-provoking book full of emotion.
