I haven’t been the best blogger lately. Vacations, summer fun and life in general has kept us pretty busy but since it’s been a few weeks since I’ve shared a favorites post I wanted to pop in and chat for a bit this morning. We are escaping the heat and heading up to the mountains this weekend to hang out and relax. I’m hoping to find a new to us hiking trail and we are meeting up with some friends Saturday night at their cabin for a low country boil. Like I said, it’s all things summer right now and we are enjoying it as much as we can. Here’s a look at a few things I’ve been loving lately in and around the web. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
I read this book when we were at the beach with my family and I really loved it. It’s a historical novel, set in France during World War II. This is a powerful book full of emotion and it will pull at your heartstrings as the author gives the readers a vivid description of what living in France during this time may of been like. It’s a story about love, loss, bravery and survival.
Jason and I started watching Bloodline on Netflix and we are completely hooked. There’s only one season so far, which we have almost made our way through. I can only imagine how the last episode will end seeing as how after each show we are looking at each other thinking, What?! So much drama!
The Best Ever Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bread. Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Bananas….Whats not to love
This salad looks light and refreshing and perfect for summer.

Oh my gosh, isn’t Bloodline the best?! I couldn’t help myself and totally binge watched it in like 3 days. It’s insane but soo good!! And I just started The Nightingale — I love historical fiction 🙂
Glad you’ve had a fun summer so far!
Glad to know I’m not the only one completely hooked on Bloodline 🙂
