I have a post coming tomorrow for the #DesignCharlotte campaign so I wanted to make sure I shared some of my favorite things lately especially since I missed posting my Friday favorites post last week.Happy Thursday friends and as always let me know some of your favorite things right now in the comments section.

This loaded salad is pretty much the best thing ever.

I have two books to share with you that I recently finished, The Rumor and Eight Hundred Grapes.Like all of Elin Hilderbrand’s books The Rumor was an easy read and it did not disappoint. I would normally describe it as the perfect beach read but since it’s now Fall I will just leave it as an intriguing book filled with different plot lines. Eight Hundred Grapes was another easy read and I actually read the whole thing in a weekend (In my defense it rained ALL weekend long). This book is full of secrets and it leaves the reader engrossed as you wait to see how each story line unfolds. This book takes place in California’s wine country and I will admit it had me craving a nice glass of red wine more than once. I highly recommend both of these books for an easy and entertaining read.

I’ve been listening to a lot of podcast lately and my friend Rachel introduced me to The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey. Listening to her is a breath of fresh air and I find all her guest to be so interesting. I always take something away from each podcast whether its a book, a new show, a thought, or an idea. Listening to Jamie and her guest makes me feel like I’m sitting around chatting with my girlfriends. Let me know if you have any Podcast recommendations.

In case you missed it I shared this news last week, which may explain all the desserts I’ve recently pinned

Looking at that round-up has me craving something sweet! I pinned those lettuce wraps too and plan to make them soon- they look delicious. Will have to keep those books in mind for my next trip 🙂
