Happy Friday. Did this week fly by or what? On one hand it means we’re another week closer to meeting our little boy but on the other hand it means the holidays are flying by and we still have so much to do, not only for Christmas but getting ready for baby #2. It will all get done one way or another so I’m really just trying to take in the season and enjoy it as much as possible. We have a fun weekend ahead with a baby shower for a friend of mine, dinner with friends and taking Scottie on the Polar Express train ride to visit Santa. We bought these tickets back in September and I can’t even tell you how excited I am. Tonight I’m planning to watch the movie with her so she may understand a little more of what’s going on. Either way, I’ve heard so many wonderful things about it and I think it’s going to be such a fun experience. There really is nothing like seeing the magic of Christmas through the eyes of a child. Have a wonderful weekend!
One of my biggest pregnancy cravings has been smoked salmon but of course that’s one thing I can’t have right now. Isn’t that usually how things work. Anyway, this smoked salmon salad is at the top of my list once the baby arrives.
This Snowbunny Blast workout
There’s always something to be thankful for and pretty much everything on this list had me nodding my head Yes.
This sweet and spicy homemade snack mix would be a really good gift idea for neighbors, friends or coworkers for the holidays.
Edible Christmas gifts in a jar.
I obviously love giving out homemade gifts during the holidays and this year I’m looking to do something a little different.
This list is a little heavy on the quick breads but I found a lot of recipes from last months Recipe Redux challenge that I can’t wait to try.
