Even though I didn’t get this post up this morning like I usually do for my Friday Favorites I still wanted to pop in and share a few of my favorite things from the week. Better late than never right. After spending most of the week feeling pretty bad, finally trying to get the nursery together, and still trying to get things done around the house I am feeling way behind with everything. It will all get done eventually it just my not be on my time, and I’m learning (or at least trying) to be OK with that. This weekend is a big deal for the Carolina’s as we will be cheering on our team this year in the Super Bowl. There’s been so much excitement built up around the community for weeks now and schools, businesses and churches have been showing there Panther Pride. It’s safe to say this year I will be attending a super bowl party for more than just the food as I will be cheering with the best of them. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this yet on the blog but I am 100% obsessed with popcorn right now, and I’ve never really been a big popcorn fan. This has been going on since October and I can’t get enough. I switch back and forth between plain, caramel corn and flavored (white cheddar why are you so good). I recently came across this kettle corn recipe and a recipe for toasted coconut kettle corn that I have my eye on.
25 Ideas For A Date Night In
Lots of really good ideas
The Royal We. I was a little skeptical at first about reading this book as I thought it would be super cheesy and predictable. I initially heard about it when Lauren Graham (my girl crush) and Mae Whitman announced they are teaming up to turn it into a movie. Since then It was voted as one of the top books of 2015 on Goodreads plus it had pretty good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. I’m really glad I did because even though the ending is pretty predictable the story itself is engaging. It’s a cute romance novel and if you have any interest whatsoever in the royals (particularly Kate Middleton) then you will enjoy this read.
