Can I please get an amen for Friday. What a week it’s been. Jason has been gone all week on a work trip (he gets back tonight) and I’ve been up most every night this week with a teething 7 month old. At least that’s what I’m assuming it is at this point. When I say I’ve been up at night I’m talking every other hour or so and it has been brutal. I honestly feel like I’m back in the newborn stage and I’ve been relying on lots and lots of coffee to power me through this week.
Anyway, it’s Friday and we’ve survived the week. It’s supposed to rain here for the next two days and I have to admit I’m kind of looking forward to it. It’s the perfect time to do some baking, reading and projects around the house. Tonight Scottie and I are eating pizza and watching a movie together and despite the long week I’m really looking forward to spending a cozy Friday night at home with my kiddos. For those of you in the path of Hurricane Matthew, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Stay safe my friends.
