In less than 24 hours we are saying good-bye to 2016 and welcoming in a new year. For me 2016 has offered many ups as well as some downs. The most exciting thing to happen was the birth of my baby boy, who has stolen all of hearts. Seeing my kids grow up, play and interact with one another is both beautiful and precious and I’m soaking up these days and moments as much as I can.
This past year has also brought many sleepless nights, a back injury, and I’ve found myself struggling with anxiety issues off and on throughout the year. I simply haven’t felt my best both mentally and physically and it’s the number one thing I’m focusing on and wanting to change as we go into the new year.
I continue to be amazed at the progress and growth this blog brings me each year and the relationships that continue to grow because of it. This space is truly something I love to do and I can’t wait to see whats in store for it in 2017. I wanted to take a look at what you, the readers, enjoyed the most this year so I rounded up my top ten recipe post (based on page views) for the year.  In the next few days I will be back to share my personal favorites from the year.

This is one of my favorite recipes I made this year as well. The creamy dressing really makes this dish and my husband and I both found ourselves getting creative with the leftovers so none of it went to waste.

A crumbly topping, spiced apples and a flaky crust are layered together for a healthier spin on this classic dessert.

7. Honey-Lavender Granola
Honey and lavender come together to create this easy and delicious granola that’s perfect to have on hand for breakfast or snacks.

9. Dutch Oven French Bread
I’ve been meaning to redo this recipe so I can update the pictures for the blog. Now that I see it’s a popular recipe I will be making this happen sooner rather than later. For someone who is easily intimated when it comes to making bread this recipe could not be easier.

A family favorite for sure, it’s no surprise this would be one of your favorites as well.
