What a busy week it’s been. How was your Valentine’s Day? Other than a few cards exchanged and waking up to flowers and balloons (for Scottie) not much else was different from our normal day. Nonetheless, the day was still fun and the excitement on Scottie’s face when I picked her up from school was magic. I’m keeping things relatively short this morning because my little man turns ONE tomorrow and I need to spend every free moment I can getting ready for his party tomorrow. Of course I’m feeling all the emotions right now that my baby is turning one but I’ll save the tears for another post. The days are long but the years are short has never rang so true until I became a mother and I’m really trying to cherish this time as much as I can. Instead of leaving things on that unexpected serious note I’ll share this quote that I read on another blog this week. I seriously laughed out loud. Have a wonderful weekend.

Putting this Grain-free bread together as soon as I hit publish on this post.

The Magnolia Story
I finished this book this week and I found it to be an enjoyable and quick read. I love memoirs and hearing people’s story and they certainly have an interesting one to tell. Also, I now want to buy all the houses and fix them up.
