Friday Favorites: 2/3/17

Good Morning and happy Friday. We survived January and the post holiday blues. Truth be told it really wasn’t a bad month as we had quite a few beautiful 60 and 70 degree sunny days. This gave us plenty of opportunity to get outside to play and go for walks and we took advantage of those days as much as possible. Do any of you have any fun super bowl plans or any yummy recipes your making for it. Since the start of the game is when my little guy goes to bed we will be watching the game at home. I will tune in to the commercials and the half time show but besides that I really don’t have much interest in the game this year. Besides the game we have no other plans other than a promised lunch date with our little girl. I’m excited for a relaxing weekend at home so I can curl up with this book.
I started this post last Friday but never had the chance to finish it because we decided to head up to the mountains much earlier than planned. Needless to say I have a lot to share with you this week. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I finally broke down and ordered myself the Run Fast Eat Slow cookbook that I mentioned in this list. I love it! I’ve already made the super hero muffins and the granola from the book and both are so good. The granola should come with a warning label because I can’t stop eating it. There is so much more I want to try out which is why this cookbook hasn’t left my counter top since it arrived.

Off Camera with Sam Jones is a new to me podcast that I recently came across. He conducts conversational interviews with artist, musicians, writers, etc… So far I’ve listened to his interview with Dax Shepard and Mindy Kaling and I found both to be very entertaining
