Friday Favorites: 4/21/17

Good morning. With Spring break and our mini vacation last week it was nice to get back to a normal routine this week. The only plans we have this weekend is a first birthday party for my best friends little girl. It’s supposed to be nice so I’m sure the rest of our time will be spent outside playing and doing work around the house. Does anyone else feel like housework is never ending?
Anyway, in typical Friday fashion here’s a look at some of my favorites from this week.
Have a wonderful weekend and happy Friday!

I’ve finally jumped on the audio book bandwagon. Last week when Jason and I realized we had a 4 hour trip in the car together with no kids I pulled up the library app on my phone and found a book I thought we both would enjoy listening to. I found Stories I only Tell My Friends by Rob Lowe, which I finished listening to this week. It’s an interesting story and I feel like the audio version is the way to go since it’s read by Rob himself.

I made this vegan Shepherd’s Pie for my family this week and everyone (yes, the kids to) loved it. I will say it takes a bit of time to prepare but it’s so worth it.

I suck at being a friend right now

I’m procrastinating on housework right now!! 🙂 I did most of it yesterday, but have to vacuum and clean the bathrooms today…ugh!! Love that photo though, too funny! Hope you’re having a great weekend!
