Friday Favorites: 9/1/17

In the blink of an eye it’s now September and we are spending our last summer hurrah in the mountains. We’ve been here since Sunday and it’s been a good mix of relaxation, fun, and lots of family time. We have more family coming up tonight to spend Labor Day weekend with us. This more or less marks the end of summer, and whereas that makes me a little sad, I’m also getting excited about all things fall. I hope you all enjoy your weekend.

The best books of summer 2017 according to 21 book bloggers.

Since we all love quick and healthy dinner ideas my girlfriend shared this link for sheet pan dinners with me this week.

Modern Scotcheroos…..Need I say more?

These no-bake Apple Cinnamon cookies are prefect for fall.

I love a good hoagie sandwich and this spin, without the bread, is calling my name.

This vegetarian casserole looks like a warm cheesy bowl of goodness.

I finished another Colleen Hoover book this week, Ugly Love. Once again she’s weaved together an entertaining story from beginning to end. Like her other novels I found myself flying through this one. This book had me feeling all the feels from sadness to love and even anger at times.  I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
