Friday Favorites: 9/15/17

Good morning and happy Friday. I’m hosting our book club this morning so I’m making this intro short and sweet so I can clean up and go for a run before they get here. Speaking of books I have several to share with you this week as well as some of my usual findings from around the web. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Cheers.

I ordered Tieghan Gerard’s newest cookbook, Half Baked Harvest: Recipes from my Barn in the Mountains. I’m in awe of her work and everything I’ve ever made from her blog’s been nothing short of amazing. This cookbook is a true testament to her creative genius and, like all her work, each photograph will be a feast for your eyes.

In case you missed it I shared this recipe for Collard Green Greek Quinoa Wraps.

As we were driving to the mountains the other weekend My husband and I started listening to My Year of Running Dangerously. I finally finished it this week and I loved it. Tom Foreman is an excellent storyteller full of whit and this is his story of transformation, balance and love of family.

My Colleen Hoover streak continues with Maybe SomedayOnce again she’s crafted an engaging and intense love story and I devoured her words.

Is is it bad that I’m already thinking about Thanksgiving and adding this paleo pie to our menu?

I listened to a podcast this week that mentioned this pot roast and how unbelievably delicious it is. Of course I was intrigued, especially since this is one of my husbands favorite comfort meals, so I marked it to try out soon.

These Apple Cinnamon Scuffins seems like a good way to use up some of the apples I currently have on hand.

Almond Flour Carrot Cake Scones
I’m sold by anything that has carrot cake in the name.

We have a road trip coming up and I will have to download the book you mentioned. Sounds like something my husband and I would like.
