Good morning! I hope you all have had a great week. I finally got rid of the nasty sinus infection I had going on so this weeks been an improvement for sure. I’m trying to wrap my head around the fact that in two days it will be October. Yesterday all I wanted to do was find a pool to jump in because it was 90 degrees! We’re heading to the mountains for the weekend to experience some fall like weather and hopefully see the leaves beginning to change. Yes, I know it sounds lame but it really is so pretty. Plus a short weekend away with family is good for the soul.

Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Friday.

I finished another book this week, The Good Widow. This novel is a suspenseful page turner with an interesting story line. I was hoping for a stronger ending so I can’t say I LOVED it but regardless I would still recommend it if your looking for a good plot twist.

I’ve yet to have my first taste of pumpkin this season but I’m changing that this weekend with these Pumpkin Brownies.
