What I Read in 2017

For 2017 I set a goal to read 35 books. I’m happy to say I exceeded that number and finished off the year reading 37 books, equaling to 11,619 pages. This was the second year in a row I’ve set a reading challenge for myself and I love keeping track of the books I’ve read. I’m learning it’s OK to stop reading a book if it’s not for me so I’m pretty pleased with the quality of books that made this list. At the bottom of the post I will give you my top 5 favorites.

I am so impressed! While I enjoy the benefits of reading – I find it SO hard to sit still and quiet my mind for long enough to make it through books in any kind of acceptable manner!! Thanks for sharing your list, maybe if I add some of these great reads I will want to sit down and curl up with a book 🙂

I love reading and probably read about 20 books last year after finally jumping on the Kindle Unlimited bandwagon. Going to check out your top 5, always love a good book recommendation!

My year of running dangerously inspired my husband to run another marathon. Definitely try Station Eleven once you get the chance
