Friday Favorites: 2/2/18

I don’t like feeling like I’m wishing away time but I’m welcoming February with open arms. January was a bit of a doozy around here, and I feel like we spent the majority of the month cooped up inside. Plus we have a lot of fun stuff happening this month that makes it exciting.
How was your week? Are you reading any good books or have any delicious recipes to share? I’m all ears so tell me everything.
As for the weekend we have a birthday party to attend and we’re surprising the kids and taking them to Disney on Ice. My husband is all about watching the super bowl and I’m all about watching Justin Timberlake in the half time show, which we will be doing from the comfort of our couch. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I’m reading Jen Hatmaker’s newest book Of Mess and Moxie while following along with the online book club she is putting on. She does a live session every Monday night on Facebook and I love hearing her thoughts and the discussions she has with other women. There’s still time to catch up if you want to join in. You can find more information here.

I posted a recipe for chicken tenders using my new air fryer earlier this week. Here’s 25 more recipes in case you have one or looking for another reason to add more gadgets to your kitchen.

My kids ask for snacks ALL DAY LONG. They love granola bars so I’m thinking I needed to make some of these (doubled or even tripled) to have on hand.

Chocolate and Peanut Butter….A match made in heaven

I’m definitely giving this vegan cheese sauce a try for our next taco night… which lets be honest, will probably be next week.

I’m always looking for gluten-free sandwich bread and this one’s up next to try.

I read Of Mess and Moxie a few months ago. I liked it – it was funny!
I wish that vegan cheese sauce didn’t have nutritional yeast in it. I’m allergic to dairy, but also yeast, so it’s hard to find vegan cheese sauces I can actually eat.
