Friday Favorites: 5/18/18

Happy Friday friends. I can’t believe we have one more week left before summer break officially starts. Truth be told I’m feeling pretty emotional as my oldest daughter will be graduating from preschool and heading to Kindergarten in the fall. Let’s just say she’s more ready for the transition than I am.

We have a jam packed weekend ahead with a soccer game, baby shower, and two birthday parties, all of which are taking place tomorrow. They’re also calling for rain showers all weekend so I’m thinking of picking up a few crafts while I’m out this morning. And maybe some popcorn and wine 🙂 I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Laurel or Yanny?
Yanny all the way

I recently finished reading The Hearts Invisible Furies  by John Boyne and loved it. It’s a beast of a book and definitely not one you can fly through but don’t let that stop you from picking it up. It’s very well written and it will have you feeling all the feels. The novel covers a span of 70 years about coming of age as a gay man in 1960’s Ireland.

The highly anticipated summer reading guide is here. I’m a little embarrassed to admit how much I look forward to this.

My girlfriend texted me the other night to tell me this salad was a hit so I took note and pinned it for later.

Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned rice crispy treat.

A reminder to get out the air fryer and try some new recipes.
