Friday Favorites: 6/1/18

I definitely didn’t indeed on taking the whole week off from the blog but our first week of summer with both kids home all day and the husband out of town left me with very little time. Also, this post is going out much later than normal today because of some issues with my word press sight. Luckily it seems to be back up and running so I thought I would try getting my favorites from the week together. Better late than never, right?

Since arriving back home from the mountains Monday afternoon, we’ve been enjoying our first week of summer. We had a playdate with friends that included a slip n slide filled with slime and pizza one day and tie dying shirts with more friends on another. Parker’s become obsessed with his new (for us) golf clubs a friend passed down to him so our afternoons have been spent outside playing with those. Our plans for this weekend include a date night and spending time at the pool. Oh summer, how I love you. Have a great weekend.

I’ve been craving Mexican food lately and I’m embarrassed to admit how many times I have had  it this week. While looking up some recipes I came across this vegetarian taco salad for a super quick and easy weeknight dinner.

This bowl looks incredibly flavorful and delicious. Also, this one.

I received this dress I had ordered from amazon and I’m so happy with it. It’s the perfect light weight summer dress and you seriously can’t beat the price.
