Friday Favorites: 6/29/18

Good morning. It’s been a wonderful but busy week and I’m definitely taking advantage of the down time this morning. I taught Vacation Bible School this week at church and it was so much fun to participate but also exhausting. If only I had half the energy that kids do…..

Even though our mornings were spent at VBS we still managed to squeeze in a couple of pool days. Wednesday afternoon I turned on a movie for the kids with a bowl of popcorn and I had a moment where I thought, “this is what summer’s all about.” Fun, tan lines, and on this particular day, early showers and a lazy afternoon. We’re leaving later this morning for two weeks in the mountains and we are all excited to escape some of the heat and enjoy a slower pace for a bit. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
