Good Morning! TGIF. After being in the mountains the past two weekends it feels good to have a low-key weekend at home ahead of us. My littlest started school this week, although the first week starts off as half days (2 hours). So far so good, but I feel like next week will be the true test.
I’m in that weird transition of trying to welcome in fall while still holding on to summer. It doesn’t help that the temperature has been in the 90’s this week and our pool is still open. The majority of our weekend will be spent either at the pool or at home watching football. It’s a little like having the best of both seasons.
I’ve been relying more and more lately on workouts I can do at home. This 45-minute HIIT looks like a good one.
On that note, if you have any workouts you love please leave them in the comments.
Chili season is right around the corner.
25 back to school dinners…..AKA Easy weeknight dinners.
Edible Cookie Dough…. Three ways!
I’m giving this butternut squash carbonara a try next week. Since pasta’s involved, I feel pretty confident that my kids will eat it.
I’m not ready to say goodbye to all of summer’s delicious produce. I need to make this pasta salad stat.
I finished reading another 5 star book Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult. I had heard so many wonderful things and after finally reading it for myself, I understand why. Small Great Things is a powerful book about race, told from the perspective of two different sides. It’s an eye opening novel with an important message and Picoult writes it in a beautiful and engrossing way.
