Good morning and happy Friday. I haven’t posted since Thanksgiving and I feel like I have a lot to catch up on. Speaking of Thanksgiving (if you celebrated), I hope you had a wonderful holiday. We spent ours in the mountains with family and it was so nice to spend a few days together away from the hustle and bustle. The Christmas season is officially upon us and our calendar is full of all the activities. My house is halfway decorated so my goal for the weekend is to finish that up. We’re also taking the kids on The Polar Express train ride, one of my favorite holiday traditions. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
I recently finished reading Where the Crawdads Sing, which I really enjoyed. It’s a beautifully written book about survival, hope, love and loss and you will fall in love with the main character, Kya. There’s a love story and mystery woven throughout the story, making for an unforgettable and engaging novel.
If it’s Ina’s recipe then you know it will be good.
Have you started working on your holiday baking list yet? These are definitely making the cut.
A beautiful and festive side dish for your holiday table.
A new way to enjoy one of my favorite vegetables.
I’m always looking for a gluten-free sandwich bread.
