Friday Favorites: 12/14/18

I know my blogging has been pretty sporadic lately, to say the least, but I just can’t seem to find the time right now. I don’t want to give this space up completely but I’m ready to do something more with the blog and I’m not sure what that looks like right now. I’m hoping the New Year will give me some insight…
It’s been a few weeks since I linked up with my Friday Favorites and I’ve got some good things to share.

Last Friday Jason and I left for New York for a quick weekend away. There’s something magical about being in New York at Christmas and Jason and I spent our time walking, eating and drinking our way through the city.

The most beautiful sunrise on my run this week.

I read Kelly Corrigan’s new book Tell Me More. This book will have you laughing and crying as Kelly writes in a beautiful and relatable way. Each chapter reads as a short¬† story making for a very quick and easy read. The last chapter alone will have you feeling all the feels and it left me in a puddle of emotions.

I make this peppermint bark granola every year during the holiday’s and its one of my most favorite things. I make plenty so I can gift it to some of the neighbors, and it’s always such a hit. This is the first thing on my baking list, which will commence this weekend.

I’m planning to make this Kale Salad Christmas Eve.

This salad needs to be on repeat for lunches.

Her recipes give me all the heart eyes, and this Gingerbread Loaf is no exception.

We’re attending two cookie parties next week so these monster cookies are definitely making it to one.

11 kid series kids and their parents will love.

Sounds like an awesome week! My husband and I are heading to NYC for New Years! I can’t wait to do the same thing you guys did (walk, eat, and drink our way through the city!)
