- ½ cup Earth Balance Butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1½ teaspoons baking soda
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup honey
- 1½ cups whole-wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 1½ cups unsweetened applesauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup raisins
- In a large bowl mix the butter, egg, sugar and honey. Add in the flour, baking soda, spices and salt.
- Pour in the applesauce, mixing well. Fold in the raisins.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40-50 minutes
