Butternut Squash and Turkey Chili |

- 1.3 lb lean ground turkey
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can garbanzo beans, drained
- 1 (14.5 oz) can fire roasted diced tomatoes
- 1 can diced tomatoes and green chilies
- 1 15oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium butternut squash, peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- Brown turkey and onion in a skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through. Drain any fat and transfer to a large pot (or crock pot)
- Add in butternut squash, chopped pepper, beans, chilies and tomatoes.
- Add spices and mix well.
- Simmer on the stove top for at least one hour or in the crock pot on low for 6-8 hours.
