Apple Cake

Ingredients
  • 3 cups chopped apples
  • 1½ cups applesauce
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2½ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Glaze
  • 1½ cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions
  1. Pour applesauce in a large mixing bowl. Add sugar and eggs and mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl add flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add to the applesauce mixture. Add in the vanilla
  3. Fold in the apples
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased bundt cake pan and bake on 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes.
  5. Glaze
  6. Mix the powdered sugar milk and 2 teaspoons vanilla together and pour over top of cake after it cools
