Crock Pot Applesauce

  • 10 medium to large apples, peeled and chopped
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1½ tablespoons agave
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  1. Add all the ingredients to a crock pot. Set on low and cook for 6 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove cinnamon stick when finished cooking. For a smooth consistency use immersion blender or if you prefer it chunky simply stir and mash the apples with a large spoon.
  2. Store applesauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 6 months.
