Whole-Wheat Applesauce Bread (Dairy-Free)

Ingredients
  • ½ cup Earth Balance Butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1½ teaspoons baking soda
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1½ cups whole-wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1½ cups unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup raisins
Directions
  1. In a large bowl mix the butter, egg, sugar and honey. Add in the flour, baking soda, spices and salt.
  2. Pour in the applesauce, mixing well. Fold in the raisins.
  3. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40-50 minutes
